About the Artist

My Name Is Kelsea Tolliver
Illustrator/Painter/Designer
I am a 24 year old artist living in the Rocky Mountains. I am gradually working toward a degree in art education. As of right now I am 2 classes away from my associates of general studies at Columbia College. After which I plan on transferring to RMCAD. As such, when I am not taking classes (mostly because I am paying off my debt), I am still very committed to my own personal growth.

I have been keeping a sketchbook for years now. And whether I am using it as an emotional outlet or a personal tool to help build my focus, I have learned many things from the simple act of sketching and keeping an art journal.

My goal is to grow my personal visual library. I do studies on clothing, action poses, portraits and landscapes. I feel a very strong draw towards illustration. I want to communicate as clearly as possible through my designs. I hope that will translates into the pictures themselves.

A constant theme through my work is the feeling of nostalgia, whether that is nostalgia for a place/time you've been to or a place/time you've only dreamed about.
